Position Summary...
The Director, Marketing Transformation & Change Management will lead Marketing transformation initiatives focused on modernizing operating models, enabling greater scale, accelerating adoption of new capabilities, and driving organizational readiness across a complex retail environment.This leader will serve as a strategic connector across Marketing to ensure transformation efforts are successfully implemented, adopted, and sustained. The role combines strategic planning, operational execution, communications, and change leadership to help evolve marketing from a centralized campaign organization into a scalable, platform-enabled marketing function.
The ideal candidate brings deep experience leading large-scale transformation programs within matrixed organizations and has a strong understanding of modern marketing ecosystems, digital operating models, and organizational change management.
What you'll do...
Marketing Transformation Leadership- Lead enterprise marketing transformation initiatives aligned to long-term business and growth objectives
- Help operationalize the future-state global marketing operating model
- Drive cross-functional alignment across Marketing
- Identify opportunities to improve organizational effectiveness, scalability, speed-to-market, and customer relevance
- Partner with executive leadership to prioritize strategic transformation roadmaps and capability investments
- Establish transformation governance, operating rhythms, decision frameworks, and accountability structures
- Develop and execute comprehensive change management strategies for large-scale marketing initiatives
- Lead stakeholder engagement, communication planning, adoption strategies, and organizational readiness activities
- Assess change impacts across teams, workflows, roles, and processes
- Design scalable frameworks for adoption, training, enablement, and ongoing reinforcement
- Build change champion networks
- Lead Global Marketing Forum to enable greater scale and consistency
- Anticipate organizational resistance and proactively develop mitigation strategies
- Help evolve marketing from a centralized execution model to a globally scalable platform-enabled organization
- Define and document future-state workflows, governance structures, and decision rights
- Improve cross-functional collaboration models and reduce operational friction
- Standardize transformation methodologies, playbooks, and best practices across the organization
- Lead complex, multi-workstream transformation programs with executive visibility
- Develop transformation roadmaps, milestones, KPIs, and executive reporting frameworks
- Track program health, adoption metrics, business outcomes, and organizational impact
- Facilitate executive steering committees and transformation governance forums
- Manage dependencies, risks, and escalation paths across large-scale initiatives
- Partner with leadership teams to identify capability gaps and future organizational needs
- Support implementation and adoption of modern marketing technologies, platforms, automation, AI, and data-driven capabilities
- Develop learning, enablement, and communication programs that support long-term behavioral change
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, experimentation, agility, and customer-centricity
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Organizational Development, Communications, or related field
- 8+ years of experience leading transformation, strategy, operations, or change management initiatives within large, complex organizations
- Experience leading enterprise-scale cross-functional programs with multiple stakeholders and executive sponsors
- Strong understanding of marketing operating models, digital transformation, and organizational design
- Demonstrated success driving organizational adoption and behavioral change
- Exceptional executive communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving capabilities
- Experience operating within highly matrixed, global organizations
- MBA or advanced degree preferred
- Experience within retail, eCommerce, omnichannel, or consumer-facing organizations
- Familiarity with Agile transformation, product operating models, and modern martech ecosystems
- Experience supporting global or regional marketing organizations
- Certification in change management methodologies (Prosci, Kotter, Agile Change, etc.) preferred
- Experience leading AI-enabled transformation initiatives or marketing modernization programs
- Strategic thinker with strong operational execution

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00 - $220,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
