Position Summary...
The Group Director, Business Development & Enablement for Realty Execution is a critical enterprise leader responsible for building and operating a scalable business support function that enables consistent, efficient, and high-quality operations across Walmart and Sam’s Club. This role serves as the central point for operational prioritization, process excellence, and business readiness ensuring that initiatives and ongoing operations are supported with the right structure, sequencing, and capabilities.This leader partners closely with Realty Execution Senior Directors and cross-functional stakeholders to reduce friction, improve readiness, and strengthen execution outcomes—without directly owning project delivery. The role focuses on embedding scalable processes, advancing adoption of new technologies (including AI-enabled capabilities), and driving continuous improvement across shared workflows.
This position is based in Bentonville, AR with limited travel as needed.
What you'll do...
Lead Business Development Strategy & Growth- Oversee enterprise business enablement, ensuring continuity, accuracy, and performance across shared workflows as the business scales.
- Establish and sustain operating models that enable efficient intake, prioritization, and execution of cross-functional work.
- Build and maintain strong internal and external relationships to maximize value creation and long-term impact
- Lead engagement with key stakeholders to align on mutual value propositions, mitigate risks, and resolve issues
- Influence cross-functional teams to ensure coordinated execution of business initiatives
- Translate business objectives into actionable plans, processes, and performance metrics
- Evaluate operational processes, measure outcomes, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
- Incorporate financial insights, forecasts, and cost analysis into business planning and decision-making
- Oversee the integration and adoption of new technologies, including AI-enabled capabilities, into business processes.
- Ensure sustained usage and value realization through change enablement and process integration.
- Attract, develop, and retain top talent through coaching, mentorship, and succession planning
- Diagnose capability gaps and implement workforce strategies to strengthen organizational effectiveness
- Foster a culture grounded in integrity, accountability, and continuous learning
- Model Walmart values and promote a culture of inclusion, collaboration, and ethical behavior
- Build strong, trust-based relationships across teams and partners
- Drive an environment focused on innovation, resilience, and continuous improvement
- 10+ years of experience in business operations, program management, or enterprise support functions in a complex organization
- Proven ability to build and scale operating models and shared services capabilities
- Strong experience in process improvement, operational performance management, and change enablement
- Experience leveraging data, KPIs, and insights to drive decisions and improvements
- Ability to operate in ambiguity, create clarity, and drive execution at scale
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience supporting large-scale execution or field operations environments
- Familiarity with AI-enabled tools and process automation
- Background in cross-functional enterprise transformation initiatives

The annual salary range for this position is $160,000.00 - $320,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
