Position Summary...
What you'll do...
Role summary:As an SDET you will design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation solutions to ensure the quality of software products. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product engineering, and UX, to understand requirements and deliver high-quality features. In this role, you will troubleshoot complex system issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable solutions to improve Quality. You will own test strategy, automation frameworks, and quality processes across projects. Responsibilities include developing and executing automated and manual tests, managing project deliverables, and ensuring timely releases. Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives by leveraging modern tools, coding standards, and DevOps practices.
About the team:
The Vision team supports Walmart’s Vision center by managing technology solutions for both in-store and online experiences. The team focuses on delivering seamless customer journeys, especially through the native iOS app. Collaborating closely with product, project, and user experience teams, members design, develop, and test innovative features. Emphasizing technical excellence, continuous development, and effective troubleshooting, the team ensures scalable, high-quality solutions that align with business objectives and enhance customer satisfaction. This collaborative environment fosters innovation and drives impactful technology delivery across the Vision space.
What you'll do:
- Collaborate with product, business, and UX teams to define test strategies and quality-focused technical solutions.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts aligned with scalability, security, and reliability standards.
- Troubleshoot defects, perform root cause analysis, and drive resolution of production issues.
- Lead and mentor small teams on testing best practices, documentation, and timelines.
- Create and execute test cases, conduct regression testing, and ensure comprehensive coverage. Support CI/CD pipelines with automation and telemetry
- Monitor application performance, evaluate changes, and ensure compliance with quality standards and company policies.
What you'll bring:
- Proven experience in Andriodtest automation using Kotlin or Java, with strong hands-on expertise in Appium (required) and TestNg frameworks.
- Solid understanding of Mobile automation architecture, APIs, and mobile testing strategies.
- Experience building and maintaining automation frameworks integrated with CI/CD pipelines.
- Skilled in functional, regression, and integration testing for mobile apps.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement reliable solutions. E
- xperience mentoring engineers and promoting quality best practices, with strong collaboration, documentation, and requirement analysis skills.

Sunnyvale, California US-11349: The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00 - $234,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
