About Last Mile Delivery – Shopper & InHome Transformation and GrowthOur team is a small, high-leverage group focused on evolving the capabilities, quality, and economics of the Shopper and InHome marketplace. We operate at the intersection of strategy, product, and operations—using data, experimentation, and deep operational context to identify what matters most and scale solutions quickly. This role shapes multi-quarter priorities, aligns stakeholders across 10+ partner teams, and drives initiatives that improve customer experience, shopper productivity, and cost-to-serve across 100% of the platform.
Lead the transformation of Walmart’s Shopper and InHome last-mile experiences—where strategy meets real-world execution at massive scale. As Senior Manager, Operations – Shopper & InHome Transformation and Growth, you’ll identify the biggest opportunities across the end-to-end shopping and delivery journey, translate them into a multi-quarter roadmap, and drive cross-functional delivery with measurable impact. This is a high-ownership role influencing platform-wide capabilities that touch millions of customers and hundreds of thousands of shoppers nationwide.
What you'll do...
- Build and execute a multi-quarter transformation roadmap across Shopper & InHome experiences
- Diagnose marketplace and operational gaps using telemetry/event-stream data and customer/shopper insights
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Analytics, and Operations to design, test, and scale solutions
- Lead experimentation (including AI-enabled prototypes and A/B tests) to validate impact at scale
- Own trade-offs across speed, cost, experience, and complexity to deliver measurable outcomes
- 6+ years in strategy, operations, product, or program management
- Expertise in two-sided marketplace dynamics and unit economics (supply/demand, cost, experience)
- Experience using event-stream/operational telemetry for root cause analysis and roadmap decisions
- Proven experimentation at scale (A/B testing across large populations; AI prototyping a plus)
- Track record partnering with Product/Tech to deliver platform solutions with P&L impact
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to translate ambiguity into structured, high-impact action

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
