Position Summary...

The Associate Merchant role in the Team Sports category helps identify opportunities, develop strategy, and interfaces with our vendors and store operators to ensure we sustainably grow our hyper localized business across high school, college, and professional team sports assortments. From managing modular assortments to hot market chase opportunitties based on sporting event results, you will work closely with internal and external stakholders to manage this highly dynamic category.

What you'll do...

  • Setting the category strategy: you’ll develop strategy, manage budgets to drive profitable growth, and use vision and creativity to impact the customer experience
  • Building relationships: you’ll use your influencing and leadership skills to build partnerships with suppliers, professional sports leagues, business partners and other Merchants
  • Making decisions: you’ll make decisions about nearly every aspect of your products including design, replenishment, store operations, financial planning, assortment, layouts, modular placement, and pricing
  • Designing, developing, and launching products: you’ll work with our vendors to develop assortments across NCAA and professional leagues including the MLB, NFL, NBA, NHL, MLS, NWSL, and WNBA.
  • Knowing your category: you’ll know your customers and supplier better than anyone and are always thinking about what is next for your business

The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00 - $130,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
