Position Summary...

As a Senior Manager, Sourcing – Household Chemicals, you will play a critical role in shaping Walmart’s private-brand consumables business by developing and executing strategic sourcing initiatives. This role sits at the intersection of product development, supplier strategy, and business performance—driving quality, innovation, and cost efficiency at scale.

You’ll partner cross-functionally with Merchandising, Product Development, and Supply Chain teams to deliver high-quality household chemical products that meet customer needs while supporting Walmart’s commitment to Save Money. Live Better.

What you'll do...

What will you do…
  • Lead end-to-end sourcing strategies for the household chemicals category, driving cost optimization, quality improvements, and long-term business growth.
  • Collaborate with Merchants, Product Development, Supply Chain, and other partners to influence key decisions around assortment, pricing, replenishment, and product lifecycle.
  • Establish and maintain strong partnerships with manufacturers and suppliers to ensure performance, innovation, and scalability across the category.
  • Partner with Product Development teams to design, develop, and launch new private-brand products, while enhancing existing offerings to meet evolving customer needs.
  • Serve as a category expert by analyzing data, market trends, and supplier insights to inform sourcing strategies and support business decisions.
  • Manage budgets, monitor key performance indicators, and ensure sourcing decisions align with overall business objectives for growth and profitability.

What you'll bring...
  • Proven experience developing and executing sourcing or procurement strategies, with strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Strong understanding of cost drivers, supply chain dynamics, and financial levers that impact margin and performance.
  • Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels across Merchandising, Product Development, and Supply Chain.
  • Comfort analyzing data, identifying trends (e.g., commodity or supplier performance), and translating insights into actionable strategies.
  • Experience in consumer-packaged goods, chemicals, manufacturing, or related categories is highly valued.
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented approach with a desire to learn, innovate, and drive continuous improvement in sourcing strategies.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
