What you'll do...
Role summary:This Merchant Director leads the development, execution, and expansion of benefit program spend at Walmart. You'll manage and develop a high-performing team by fostering collaboration and guiding strategic initiatives.
About the team:
The Directed Spend team leads Walmart’s specialty tender programs, including SNAP, OTC, WIC, and FSA, enabling customers to maximize their benefits with Walmart’s everyday low prices.

What you'll do:

- Guide and develop a high-performing merchandising team, ensuring alignment with company standards.
- Utilize data analysis to inform decisions and influence leaders.
- Drive continuous improvement for our customer experience and business outcomes.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00 - $220,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Merchandising , or related field and 5 years’ experience in merchandising management, buying, financial planning, operations, or related area. OR 7 years’ experience in merchandising management, buying, financial planning, operations, or related area.2 years’ supervisory experience.
