Position Summary...
In this role, you will report to the central Data Analytics team within Walmart Health and Wellness. You will apply your data analytics skills to your business's data to create metrics and reports. You will work cross-functionally with H&W federated data analysts and their business area stakeholders to develop, certify, and publish metrics in our reporting platform. You'll work on-site at our offices in Bentonville, AR.About Our Data Analytics Team

What you'll do...
- Embrace H&W culture of data quality, privacy, best practices and continuous learning to deliver trusted results, increase institutional knowledge, and improve your effectiveness as an analyst.
- Prepare certified data and metrics to be “AI-Ready” for consumption within AI Assistants and standardized reports used by executives and business leaders.
- Define, measure, and document metrics in SQL. Leverage the H&W metric certification process to ensure repeatable data quality in the reports you generate.
- Analyze data using SQL and publish results into the H&W analytics library to increase institutional data analytics knowledge of operational, clinical, and financial metrics.
- Leverage AI Assistants and Agents to develop insights and experiments on H&W data to drive forward business improvements and innovation initiatives
- Apply structured problem-solving techniques (process diagrams, root cause analysis, DMAIC problem solving) to frame business problems to enable efficient delivery of projects.
- Drive a culture of data use privacy and integrity by maintaining compliance to all data and analytics procedures and adhering to all data policies subject to Walmart H&W.
- Bachelors, Masters, or PhD in Applied Math/Statistics, Biostatistics, Industrial/Systems Engineering, Operations Research, Economics, or related fields in applied analysis
- Experience with advanced data analytics in SQL and/or Python
- Experience in data analytics and/or data science within healthcare
- Strength in communicating analysis results using data story-telling techniques

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $155,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
