Role summary:The Senior Manager, Automation Engineering, leads the design, integration, and continuous improvement of automation systems within supply chain operations. About the team:
The Automation Engineering Platform team drives the advancement of supply chain automation through centralized support. This team provides tactical assistance, deployable resources, and strategic planning for automation initiatives that span multiple teams or fall outside specific group scopes. By fostering collaboration and leveraging expertise in automation, data analysis, and project management, the team ensures seamless integration and continuous improvement of automation networks. Their efforts enable operational excellence and process optimization, supporting Walmart’s commitment to efficient, scalable supply chain solutions that meet evolving business needs.
What you'll do:
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of automation systems to enhance operational efficiency.
- Utilize data analysis tools to generate insights, influence strategic decisions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage cross-functional projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timely delivery.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to integrate automation technologies and resolve technical challenges.
- Develop and maintain documentation for automation processes, project plans, and performance metrics.
- Oversee financial analyses to evaluate automation investments and ensure return on investment.
- Mentor and guide team members to foster technical growth and operational excellence.
What you'll bring:
- Strong program management experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives
- Proven ability to manage end-to-end program delivery, including dependencies, risks, and stakeholder alignment
- Background in supply chain automation, engineering, or large-scale operational environments
- Experience developing and evaluating business cases, capital investments, and ROI
- Ability to translate data into actionable insights and influence strategic decisions
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical audiences
- Familiarity with automation technologies, systems integration, or engineering concepts

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00 - $220,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :

Minimum Qualifications...
