Role summary:
The (USA) Director, Business Development Sales - DV leads strategic sales planning and execution to drive business growth and maximize return on investment. About the team:
The Business Development team focuses on driving subscription sales for Walmart’s proprietary customer data platform, Scintilla, targeting Walmart suppliers. This team leverages strong business strategies, sales forecasting, negotiation, financial acumen, and leadership skills to develop and execute effective sales initiatives. Members collaborate to build compelling business cases, forecast market trends, and negotiate agreements that deliver value. The team plays a critical role in aligning sales efforts with organizational goals, ensuring strategic growth and long-term partnerships while maintaining high standards of professionalism and integrity.
What you'll do:
  • Develop and implement strategic business development plans aligned with organizational goals to drive sales growth and market expansion.
  • Lead complex negotiations and establish effective pricing and contracting models to maximize long-term value for stakeholders.
  • Analyze market trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape to inform decision-making and identify new opportunities.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to translate business requirements into actionable initiatives and deliver measurable results.
  • Mentor and guide team members on sales qualification, forecasting, and proposal development best practices.
  • Utilize financial acumen to assess business cases, forecast performance, and optimize resource allocation.

Bentonville, Arkansas US-30008: The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00 - $220,000.00
San Bruno, California US-08848: The annual salary range for this position is $143,000.00 - $286,000.00
Chicago, Illinois US-10276: The annual salary range for this position is $121,000.00 - $242,000.00
Hoboken, New Jersey US-10279: The annual salary range for this position is $132,000.00 - $264,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
