Position Summary...

You’ll help lead influencer strategy for the 8th largest retailer in the U.S., shaping how millions of loyal members discover, trust, and fall in love with Sam’s Club through the voices they value most — our creators. From macro influencers to everyday members sharing their finds, you’ll orchestrate how creators tell our brand story in ways that drive real business impact.

This role leads the Sam’s Club Creator Program and broader influencer ecosystem — building scalable, authentic partnerships that amplify brand love, drive membership growth, and inspire shopping behavior. You’ll develop strategy, guide creator storytelling, and oversee best-in-class campaigns that connect emotional storytelling to measurable results.

What you'll do...

We’re looking for someone:
  • Who can design and scale an influencer ecosystem that turns authentic advocacy into brand growth.
  • Who sees creators not just as marketing partners, but as brand storytellers who drive business performance.
  • Who knows how to balance creative authenticity with strategic precision — ensuring every collaboration ladders up to brand and business goals.
  • Who can lead a team that understands both the art of influence and the science of measurable impact.
  • Who knows how to turn Sam’s Club’s strong brand momentum into creator-led cultural relevance.
In this leadership role, you’ll define what creator excellence looks like for Sam’s Club — building a modern, data-informed influencer marketing engine that drives both brand trust and purchase intent. You’ll partner cross-functionally across marketing, PR, media, and merchandising to make creators a core lever in how we grow. This is your opportunity to elevate Sam’s Club as a creator-first brand and shape the next era of membership-driven storytelling. You’ll Make an Impact By:
  • Leading the strategy and day-to-day management of the Sam’s Club Creator Program, driving scale, engagement, and business results.
  • Building a creator ecosystem that spans influencers, members, and advocates — ensuring consistent brand voice and authentic storytelling.
  • Guiding agency and platform partners from creative brief through execution, pushing for innovative, insight-led campaigns that outperform benchmarks.
  • Developing frameworks to evaluate, optimize, and scale influencer partnerships — ensuring alignment with both brand and category priorities.
  • Driving influencer measurement and reporting, connecting content performance and engagement to tangible outcomes like consideration, trial, and sales.
  • Collaborating with internal partners (brand, media, and merchandising) to integrate creators into broader marketing initiatives.
  • Championing influencer best practices across the organization, elevating how the brand leverages creators as a storytelling and commerce driver.
  • Mentoring team members and fostering a culture of innovation, curiosity, and excellence in influencer marketing.
You’ll Sweep Us Off Our Feet If You Have:
  • 7+ years of experience in influencer or creator marketing, partnerships, or digital strategy, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven success developing and scaling influencer programs that drive both brand affinity and business results.
  • Deep understanding of the creator economy, social platforms, and emerging trends in content commerce.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing agencies or creator management partners.
  • Strong track record of negotiating and nurturing influencer relationships — from large-scale campaigns to community programs.
  • Analytical acumen with experience linking influencer KPIs to broader marketing and sales metrics.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex business goals into clear creative direction.
  • A passion for creators, culture, and the power of authentic advocacy to move members to act.
Why This Role Matters The way people shop is changing — influence has become the new word of mouth. You’ll be the architect of how Sam’s Club leverages that shift, turning authentic creator voices into measurable brand growth.
