Position Summary...
The Senior Manager, Program Management - EV Commissioning Automation & Quality leads the final phase of Walmart’s Retail EV Charging development lifecycle, ensuring sites transition efficiently from utility energization to customer-ready operation. This role drives commissioning execution, vendor coordination, and system integration while advancing automation and standardization to reduce time-to-open and improve quality across the national portfolio.Walmart’s Retail EV Charging Development team designs, deploys, and commissions a best-in-class public charging network across Walmart and Sam’s Club locations. The team partners across Realty, Energy, Utilities, Global Tech, and Store Operations to build customer-centric, cost-effective charging infrastructure.
What you'll do...
- Lead commissioning activities from utility energization through customer activation, ensuring sites are fully operational and meet performance standards.
- Manage commissioning vendors, EV hardware suppliers, and backend CSMS providers to ensure seamless system integration and readiness.
- Partner with Development, Construction, Utilities, and Global Tech teams to align commissioning timelines and resolve integration challenges.
- Drive automation and standardization of commissioning workflows in collaboration with Retail EV Charging Innovations and Global Tech.
- Establish and maintain quality assurance protocols, testing procedures, and performance benchmarks across all deployments.
- Partner with Customer Engagement & Growth to support successful site launches and customer activation.
- Experience commissioning and deploying EV charging infrastructure or similar complex electrical systems at scale.
- Strong understanding of system integration, testing, and operational readiness for distributed energy or infrastructure projects.
- Experience managing vendors and coordinating across hardware, software, and utility stakeholders.
- Ability to identify process inefficiencies and implement automation to improve speed and consistency.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and project management skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $155,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :

2 years’ experience leading cross-functional teams.3 years’ experience using intermediate functionality of Microsoft Office.
