This role sits at the intersection of strategy, operations, and advanced analytics, with a mandate to unlock value through intelligent, scalable decisioning systems.

The role drives recovery, shapes omni-channel returns strategy, and redesigns end-to-end operational processes—leveraging advanced analytics and AI-driven decisioning to enhance traceability, enable best-in-class associate tools, and optimize financial flows across the returns lifecycle.

The ideal candidate is both highly strategic and deeply execution-oriented, with the ability to frame ambiguous, high-impact opportunities and translate them into scalable, production-ready solutions. The role requires strong financial acumen, field orientation, and the ability to influence cross-functional partners across Product, Engineering, and Operations.

What you'll do...

  • Lead strategies to maximize recovery and financial outcomes across omni-channel returns and claims
  • Design and scale intelligent decisioning systems (including AI/ML-driven frameworks) to optimize disposition, recovery, and end-to-end value
  • Redesign and optimize end-to-end returns and claims processes, improving efficiency, accuracy, and scalability across store and eCommerce channels
  • Drive improvements in traceability, visibility, and financial flows across the returns lifecycle to enable better decision-making and P&L outcomes
  • Partner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and AP to build scalable solutions and influence roadmaps
  • Lead enterprise change management and field enablement—driving adoption through training, communications, and ongoing engagement across a distributed store network

What you'll bring:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Analytics, Computer Science, or related field OR equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in eCommerce, omni channel retail, product, operations, or related domain
  • 3+ years of experience leading cross-functional initiatives across product, engineering, and business teams
  • Demonstrated proficiency in leveraging AI/ML-driven tools to solve complex business problems
  • Experience building or applying intelligent agents, automation, or decisioning systems is a strong plus
  • Experience developing, implementing, or operationalizing policies, rules, or decision frameworks at scale
  • Demonstrated experience using data and analytics to drive business decisions (e.g., SQL, Excel, Tableau, or similar tools)
