What you'll do...

Role summary:
The Manager, Pickup Experience will lead the Gig-Driver Pickup strategy, execution, and continuous improvement. This role owns the pickup experience roadmap, focusing on reducing defects, improving efficiency, and enhancing driver satisfaction. Partnering across Product, Analytics, Support, and Operations, you will identify friction points, develop scalable solutions, and drive execution. This role is critical to ensuring a seamless pickup experience that enables reliable deliveries, reduces operational issues, and improves overall platform performance.
About the team:
The Driver Experience team focuses on enhancing the engagement of gig contractors through the Spark Driver App. The team works collaboratively across functions to develop innovative solutions, lead strategic initiatives, and manage projects aligned with business objectives. By leveraging strong operational and analytical skills, the team drives improvements that strengthen the overall value proposition and support Walmart’s commitment to delivering exceptional service and operational excellence.
What you'll do:
  • Strategy & Roadmap: Define and execute the pickup experience strategy to reduce defects and improve efficiency.
  • Program Leadership: Lead cross functional initiatives to address top issues and scale improvements.
  • Driver Experience Optimization: Identify friction points and improve workflows and processes.
  • Data & Insights: Analyze driver feedback, data, and operational metrics to identify trends and prioritize opportunities.
  • Experimentation & Continuous Improvement: Drive testing and iteration to validate solutions and scale changes.
  • Cross Functional Partnership: Collaborate with Product, Technology, and Operations teams to deliver solutions.
  • Business Case Development, Stakeholder Influence, and Communication: share insights and progress with stakeholders, ensuring alignment and clarity.

What you'll bring:
  • Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of experience in strategy, operations, program management, or related roles.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience deriving insights from large datasets and translating them into action.
  • Experience working with Product, Technology, and Operations teams to solve business problems.
  • Proven ability to manage projects end-to-end and deliver results in fast paced environments.
  • Experience working with customer or driver data and identifying trends.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and present insights clearly.
  • Experience in process improvement and operational excellence.

The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00 - $130,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
