Position Summary...
As Counsel, you will provide expert legal guidance to support business objectives while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. You will oversee legal compliance, conduct investigations, draft and review legal documents, and contribute to strategic business initiatives. The Cybersecurity Legal team offers expert legal guidance on regulatory compliance, risk management, external communications, and incident response. This team collaborates closely with business partners to align legal strategies with company objectives, ensuring adherence to corporate governance and applicable laws. Members contribute to managing investigations, supporting business initiatives, and addressing cybersecurity compliance. The team fosters a collaborative environment focused on delivering clear, informed counsel to enable sound decision-making and effective risk mitigation across the organization.
What you'll do...
- Provide legal advice and counsel to business partners, ensuring informed decision-making aligned with company objectives.
- Monitor compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations, supporting risk management and regulatory adherence.
- Collaborate with internal teams and outside counsel to develop strategies for resolving legal matters and conducting investigations.
- Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, contracts, and policies to support business transactions and initiatives.
- Oversee corporate governance processes, maintaining knowledge of applicable laws and standards.
- Lead and mentor associates, fostering professional development and performance excellence.
- Support continuous improvement by evaluating legal and operational effectiveness and recommending enhancements.
What you'll bring:
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to resolve legal matters effectively.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity laws and ability to provide clear, actionable legal counsel to support business objectives.
- Proven expertise in corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and risk management within complex business environments.
- Skilled in conducting investigations, legal research, and managing incident response with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, ensuring alignment with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrated commitment to ethical standards, integrity, and fostering a culture of compliance and accountability.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00 - $220,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
