Director, Product Management – AI Shopping (In-Store / In-Club Experiences) About the Role As Director of Product Management for AI Shopping (In-Store / In-Club Experiences), you will lead the strategy, vision, and execution of AI-powered experiences that transform how customers shop in physical retail environments. This role is responsible for delivering innovative, scalable, and customer-centric solutions that bridge digital intelligence with in-store and in-club journeys. Aligned with Walmart’s product management expectations, this leader will operate as a business owner, technologist, and customer advocate, driving measurable impact across customer experience, operational efficiency, and business outcomes. What You’ll Do Define Vision & Strategy- Own and articulate a clear product vision and multi-year roadmap for AI-powered in-store/in-club experiences
- Identify opportunities to leverage AI (computer vision, personalization, automation, agentic systems) to improve customer journeys and associate workflows
- Align product strategy with Walmart’s omni-channel and AI transformation priorities
- Lead end-to-end product lifecycle: discovery, definition, development, launch, and scaling
- Define product requirements, success metrics (OKRs), and measurable outcomes
- Prioritize roadmap based on customer impact, business value, and technical feasibility
- Deliver products at scale across stores/clubs with operational excellence
- Act as a GM for your product area with accountability for adoption, engagement, revenue impact, and cost efficiency
- Leverage data and analytics to inform decisions and continuously optimize performance
- Establish and monitor KPIs tied to customer satisfaction, conversion, and operational metrics
- Partner with engineering, data science, and platform teams to build and deploy AI/ML solutions
- Ensure responsible AI practices including governance, privacy, fairness, and transparency
- Drive experimentation (A/B testing, pilots) and scale successful innovations
- Collaborate across engineering, design, merchandising, store operations, and analytics
- Influence senior leaders and align stakeholders across a highly matrixed organization
- Partner with external vendors and ecosystem partners where needed
- Lead, mentor, and grow product managers
- Set a high bar for product thinking, execution rigor, and customer obsession
- Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement
- A clearly defined and executed AI Shopping roadmap for in-store/in-club experiences
- Scaled deployment of AI-powered capabilities across physical retail environments
- Measurable improvements in customer experience (NPS, engagement, conversion)
- Operational efficiencies and cost savings enabled by AI solutions
- Strong product metrics framework with regular executive reporting
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and 10+ years of product management experience OR equivalent experience
- 4+ years of people leadership experience leading product or cross-functional teams
- Experience building and scaling digital or technology products in a large, complex organization
- Experience working with AI/ML-driven products or data-intensive platforms
- Demonstrated ability to define strategy and drive execution across multiple teams
- Experience in omni-channel environments (both retail and eCommerce)
- Experience with in-store technologies (e.g., computer vision, IoT, checkout innovation)
- Familiarity with personalization, recommendation systems, or conversational AI

The annual salary range for this position is $130,000.00 - $260,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
