What you'll do...

Role summary:
We are seeking a passionate, strategic, and highly skilled Manager, Driver Communications to lead how we engage, inform, and inspire drivers across the platform. This role sits at the intersection of driver experience, storytelling, and strategic communications, playing a critical role in improving driver satisfaction, reducing churn, and driving adoption of key initiatives.
Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Driver Communications & Engagement, this role will lead the development and execution of a mix of driver communication campaigns, engagement events, and deployment while serving as a communications subject‑matter expert for cross‑functional partners.
About the team:
The Driver Communications & Engagement team shapes clear, consistent, and trustworthy communication with drivers throughout their journey. The team designs comprehensive engagement programs, including lifecycle journeys and appreciation campaigns, ensuring timely and relevant messaging across channels. Combining storytelling, engagement strategy, and operational goals, the team collaborates across product, brand, operations, and legal functions. They translate complex information into clear messages while incorporating driver feedback to enhance communication effectiveness. This team plays a vital role in fostering understanding, adoption, and loyalty by delivering high-quality, driver-focused content aligned with business objectives.
What you'll do:
  • Drive driver engagement, satisfaction, and loyalty through lifecycle‑based strategies and programs.
  • Partner cross‑functionally to surface driver insights, address experience gaps, and influence improvements.
  • Lead driver‑focused campaigns, events, and appreciation initiatives that increase engagement and retention.
  • Create and deploy high‑impact, driver‑facing communications across channels with clarity, consistency, and compliance.
  • Act as a communications SME, advising on storytelling, message framing, and channel strategy.
  • Execute, measure, and optimize initiatives using data, KPIs, and sentiment to maximize impact and efficiency.

What you'll bring:
  • 4+ years of experience in communications, marketing, copywriting, or customer/driver engagement roles.
  • Strong storytelling and content strategy skills with a passion for improving the driver experience.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute strategic, multi‑channel communication plans.
  • Excellent copywriting and editing skills with a strong eye for clarity, tone, and brand consistency.
  • Experience leading campaigns, events, or engagement initiatives in fast‑paced environments.
  • Data‑driven and highly collaborative, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and use insights, KPIs, and digital analytics (e.g., Braze, CMS, web metrics) to drive decisions.

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $155,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
