Position Summary...

What you'll do...

This role is part of the Fuel Tech team, focused on developing bleeding edge solutions that enhance both fuel pumps and Pint of Sale systems. Our mission is to create a seamless, frictionless experience for customers—whether they are visiting our convenience stores, fuel pumps or engaging through our online platforms—by building robust omni-channel solutions. We are committed to maintaining the highest standards for our stores and customers, delivering effective digital solutions that support Every Day Low Price (EDLP) and drive exceptional customer satisfaction. In this position, you will contribute to the development of both front-end and back-end technology solutions. As a developer, you will design and implement scalable, multi-tenant solutions that serve both Walmart and Sam’s Club U.S.. You will have the opportunity to build highly scalable services capable of processing millions of requests per day and tackle complex software engineering challenges using state-of-the-art technologies.
  • Hands-on engineering and development experience on React JS, Redux, MQTT, Node Js, TypeScript, Html, python, Nginx, Linux shell.
  • Any cloud exposure like GCP, Azure or AWS.
  • Sound knowledge of Relational SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Proficient in software development using CICD Pipelines and source code management using Git/Git Hub/DevOps.
  • Strong computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
  • Demonstrated high level of ownership in the Project having worked on one or more modules independently.
  • Sound knowledge of Agile concepts and worked on tools like Jira for story tracking.
  • Utilize your 4- 6 years of Full Stack development experience for the development of highly scalable Web applications .
  • Gain development experience of sophisticated, scalable, and high performing system.
  • Gain hands on experience to design scalable solutions, work with Walmart business, product.
  • Design, Development, Reviews etc. Walmart scale - exposure to various Walmart business units like Store system, Walmart eCommerce, Walmart Payment systems, etc.
  • Knowledge in AI and experience on use AI tools like CoPilot, Claude to develop project task
  • Any experience or exposure in Retail applications like Store System, My Walmart will add value.
  • Awareness of cloud offerings from Microsoft Azure like Web Apps, SQL, Cosmos, EventHub, Service Bus, Blobs would be an added advantage.
  • Experience in developing CI/CD pipelines would be an added advantage.
  • Able to understand requirements, participate in and reason about application design discussions, create appropriately complex application designs, create and deploy CRQs, and effectively troubleshoot applications in the event of production issues.
  • Utilizing AI tools to better organize, manage and optimize existing system designs and looking for ways to improvements.
  • System architecture involving event processing, database management, and data driven execution.
  • Good understanding of cloud concepts - Kubernetes, docker, etc.
  • Any experience in Java, Spring boot, Java, Kafka, SQL & microservices.
  • At least 4 years of hands-on experience in developing large scale distributed full stack applications using , React JS , Java/J2EE stack.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
