Role summary:The Senior Manager, Software Engineering leads platform-level execution of software and AI/ML systems, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and roadmap milestones. The Global Governance Tech team delivers advanced Ethics and Compliance solutions supporting supply chain initiatives through agile, cloud-native development. This team prioritizes innovation, quality, and scalable software aligned with business goals. Members collaborate closely to design, develop, and maintain solutions across in-store, mobile, and web platforms. The team values strong technical expertise, ownership, and problem-solving skills in a dynamic environment. Focused on continuous learning and collaboration, the team drives impactful results that enhance customer and business outcomes while ensuring maintainable, high-quality software solutions.
What you'll do:
- Lead platform-level execution of software and AI/ML systems, ensuring alignment with domain priorities and roadmap milestones.
- Oversee shared infrastructure, tooling, and frameworks to support scalable, secure, and reusable development.
- Drive full software development lifecycle across multiple teams, championing DevOps architecture and CI/CD practices.
- Implement cloud cost optimization and enhance automation, telemetry, and tooling to improve reliability and efficiency.
- Mentor engineers, guide architectural decisions, and promote technical quality and compliance standards.
- Manage stakeholder relationships to define priorities, unblock progress, and align engineering work with business goals.
- Establish and track operational and engineering metrics to guide continuous improvement and technical excellence.
What you'll bring:
- Proven leadership in platform engineering, overseeing software and AI/ML system development aligned with strategic roadmaps and milestones.
- Expertise in managing full software development lifecycle, including DevOps architecture, CI/CD, and cloud financial management.
- Strong project and stakeholder management skills, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
- Experience guiding architectural reviews and system design for scalable, maintainable, and high-performance platforms.
- Ability to mentor and develop engineering teams, fostering technical excellence and continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated technical judgment and adaptability to evolving technologies and complex system contexts.
- Effective collaboration and communication across cross-functional teams to drive innovation and operational success.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00 - $220,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :

Minimum Qualifications...

Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 5 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.Option 2: 7 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
