Position Summary...
As a Landscaper at Walmart’s new Home Office, you’ll help shape and maintain the outdoor spaces that welcome associates and visitors every day. Our Landscaping Team plays a vital role in creating outdoor spaces that are both inviting and sustainable. We focus on maintaining vibrant, healthy landscapes that reflect Walmart’s commitment to community and environmental stewardship. As part of the team, you’ll directly influence how our green spaces look, feel, and function for everyone who visits.
What you'll do...
- Operate a variety of mowing equipment, including push mowers, ride-on mowers, edgers, weedeaters, trimmers, and leaf blowers.
- Maintain designated outdoor areas by performing landscape maintenance tasks related to turf and bed care.
- Remove debris, litter, and weeds from work areas as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Assist with landscaping tasks such as planting, mulching, and watering as required.
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with customers and/or associates
- Apply fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides as directed.
- Monitor and report on the health of lawns and property landscape quality
- Perform seasonal tasks such as leaf removal, snow shoveling, or spreading ice melt.
- Assist with irrigation system maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Keep accurate records of completed tasks and equipment usage.
- 1–3 years of experience in landscaping, gardening, or horticulture.
- Knowledge of planting, pruning, fertilizing, watering, and pest/disease management.
- Ability to use garden tools and apply horticulture practices effectively.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to support team success.
- Dedication to upholding Walmart’s standards, policies, and ethical practices.
- 1-3 years of landscaping/grounds maintenance experience and willingness to work outside in a variety of conditions.

The hourly wage range for this position is $21.00 - $40.00* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
