Position Summary...
We’re looking for a Senior Manager, Supply Chain Management to lead the transformation of Operations Support functions across our Ambient Distribution Center (DC) network. In this role, you’ll own end-to-end supply chain process performance, drive operational improvements, and partner across Merchandising, Transportation, DC Operations, and external suppliers/service providers to improve flow, service, and cost. This role is responsible for leading the transformation and modernization of Control Tower and planning functions.What you'll do...
- Develop solutions and provide recommendations to Directors and Senior Directors as initiatives progress through Stage Gates.
- Lead executives and/or senior leaders through Discussion and Decision making processes which have network-wide impact.
- Own strategy development and execution for a pillar of the Field Facing Initiatives portfolio.
- Provide liaison leadership across cross-functional groups in Home Office and in the field.
- Build trust with home office and field teams and demonstrate competence by proactively closing gaps before deploying solutions to the field.
- Bring subject matter expertise for a group of related initiatives and learn cross functional expertise from your peers.
- Drive process engineering and new ways of working by providing critical input to design and process improvement frameworks.
- Support senior leadership with insights and recommendations, including technical solutions and performance improvement strategies.
- Proven leadership in manufacturing, supply chain operations, process engineering, or network optimization in a distribution/fulfillment environment.
- Experience deploying industry-standard tools such as Six Sigma, ISO-9000 or DFSS and thought leadership around how these frameworks fit within Walmart’s operating models.
- Extensive experience presenting to and influencing senior leadership and/or executives.
- Experience influencing across functions (Operations, Transportation, Merchandising, Suppliers) and managing complex stakeholder environments.
- Knowledge of lean concepts, end-to-end costing, and waste reduction methods.
- Strong capability in data-driven problem solving, root cause analysis, and translating insights into scalable process improvements.
- Ability to manage escalations, prioritize effectively, and deliver results across multiple concurrent initiatives.
- Strong communication skills—able to present recommendations and align partners on execution.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :

Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field and 4 years’ experience in logistics, distribution, transportation, or related
area OR 6 years’ experience in logistics, distribution, transportation, or related area.
2 years’ experience with advanced functionality of Microsoft Office.
