What you'll do...
Role summary:This position is project management focused and leads the strategy and execution of recruiting events and conferences from start to finish. This role shapes experiences that connect candidates to the work, the people, and the opportunity here. By using data and insights, they track performance and improve outcomes across conversion, offers, and acceptance rates. They manage budgets with a focus on impact and efficiency, while partnering closely with recruiters and the business. Curated events play a key role in how we hire, making this position essential to building strong talent pipelines and delivering experiences candidates remember.
About the team:
The Intern Programs team, part of the Early Careers group, partners across Walmart and Sam’s Club to attract emerging talent and deliver impactful experiences. The team designs and executes engaging events and programs that connect candidates to internship opportunities, emphasizing growth and organizational alignment. By utilizing insights and feedback, they continuously enhance these experiences to be meaningful and accessible. Their work supports building strong talent pipelines and fostering lasting connections, ensuring alignment with business goals while promoting accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement throughout all initiatives.
What you'll do:
- Lead the strategy and execution of Walmart hosted recruiting events
- Design experiences that drive measurable hiring results
- Manage multiple high impact events each year
- Partner with recruiters and the business to align with hiring needs
- Connect event execution to enterprise goals and priorities
- Lead end-to-end planning and execution of curated recruiting events and conferences
- Track performance metrics including candidate conversion rates, offer rates, acceptance rates, and ROI
- Use data insights to optimize event strategy and improve hiring outcomes
- Manage budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Deliver premium candidate experiences that increase engagement and brand strength
- Provide reporting and analytics to leadership to inform workforce planning decisions
What you'll bring:
- Experience leading complex events, projects, or programs.
- Proficiency in vendor management, event planning, and event operations to support program execution.
- Excellent communication and meeting facilitation abilities.
- Analytical skills to evaluate project performance using KPIs, trend data, and return on investment analyses.
- Experience leading complex programs, projects, and events that make an impact.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to turn insights into action.
- Able to manage multiple priorities while keeping work organized and on track.
- Strong cross-functional team leadership and relationship-building skills to engage key stakeholders effectively.
- Comfortable using data to improve experiences and outcomes.
- Project, program, or event management certification is a plus

The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00 - $130,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
