Position Summary...
What you'll do...
Realty Project Coach, Sam’s Club Lead club remodels and new builds that keep Sam’s Club operating at peak performance. As a Realty Project Coach, you support Sam’s Club Realty Execution, delivering remodels, new clubs, and special projects across the US. You own execution in assigned clubs, keep projects on schedule and on budget, and protect the member experience during construction activity. You work directly with club leadership, suppliers, and field teams to resolve issues fast, manage risk, and keep work moving. This role is hands-on, field-based, and travel-intensive. What You’ll Do Own Project Execution- Lead end-to-end execution of remodels, new club builds, and special projects.
- Interpret construction and space plans, manage scope changes, and reduce impact to club operations.
- Track timelines, costs, and quality standards, escalate risks early, and drive resolution.
- Supervise and develop hourly associates and project teams.
- Set clear expectations, provide coaching, and reinforce safe work practices.
- Identify talent, support development, and create growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with Club Managers and Market teams to align construction activity with business needs.
- Address operational disruptions, supplier issues, and associate concerns quickly.
- Communicate progress, changes, and obstacles to key stakeholders.
- Align cross-functional partners around shared goals.
- Reinforce teamwork between club operations, suppliers, and Realty partners.
- Drive accountability while maintaining strong working relationships.
- Background in construction remodels, project management, space management, and/or club or store design.
- Experience leading people, projects, or cross-functional initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field plus 1 year of relevant experience
or - 3 years of relevant experience in project management, space management, store design, operations, or data analysis.
- Master’s degree in Business or related field.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams.
- Project Management certification.
- Shift: Primarily overnight shifts, typically 10 to 12 hours.
- Travel: Extensive travel required. Expect to be away from home up to 80 percent of the time, often 17 to 21 days per assignment, supporting clubs across multiple states.
- Base Location: Assigned to a home club with frequent regional and national travel.
- Transportation: Reliable transportation required. Mileage and overnight travel expenses are covered.
- Salary Range: $60,000 to $110,000 annually, based on experience and location.

The annual salary range for this position is $60,000.00 - $110,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :

Minimum Qualifications...

Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field and 1 year’s experience in project management, space management, store design, operations, data analysis, or related area OR 3 years’ experience in project management, space management, store design, operations, data analysis, or related area.Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (for example, Academy trainings, Open Door trainings, etc.).
All associates in role January 1, 2021 or after will need to sign an updated JD including the above language (but will not be impacted).
