Position Summary...
We’re looking for a Senior Director of Fraud and Digital Identity to lead the long-term strategy and execution of fraud prevention and digital identity capabilities for the Spark Driver gig delivery platform. This role is responsible for protecting platform integrity today while future-proofing identity and trust solutions to support evolving threats, regulatory expectations, and business growth.You will set the vision for how identity, fraud prevention, and risk management scale over time—ensuring the platform remains resilient, adaptable, and trusted by millions of drivers. This is a highly visible senior leadership role, requiring strong cross-functional leadership and influence.
What you'll do...
- Own the end-to-end digital identity strategy, with a focus on scalability, adaptability, and dynamic risk mitigation.
- Define a vision for identity and fraud prevention that anticipates emerging threats (e.g. generative AI, synthetic identities, emulators, spoofing), regulatory changes, and platform growth.
- Lead platform and vendor strategy – including selection, performance oversight, cost optimization, and configuration. Guide decisions on the right blend of vendor tools and internal technologies that provide necessary capabilities to execute the strategy.
- Establish governance, operating rhythms, KPIs, and success metrics to continuously assess effectiveness and risk posture.
- Partner closely with Engineering, Product, Security, and Asset Protection to align digital and physical risk strategies and ensure coordinated controls.
- Provide leadership during platform stability incidents that impact identity and fraud processes, including response protocols, post-incident learning, and systemic improvements.
- Collaborate with Legal, Privacy, Compliance, and similar risk leaders to ensure fraud and identity strategies remain compliant.
- Represent digital identity strategy, trends, and risk outlook in executive and senior leadership forums.
What You'll Bring...
- 8+ years experience in trust, safety, risk management, fraud, identity, or similar domains.
- 5+ years leading senior leaders or complex cross-functional teams.
- Proven experience with platform strategy and vendor governance.
- Experience operating in regulated or highly controlled environments.
- Demonstrated ability to build durable programs that evolve over time rather than point-in-time solutions.
- Familiarity with modern identity validation techniques (e.g., digital IDs, adaptive identity, risk-based decisioning, signal orchestration) and challenges.
- Background in e-commerce, retail, gig-economy, or high-scale consumer platforms.

The annual salary range for this position is $130,000.00 - $260,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
