Position Summary...
This role will be responsible for leading decision support, financial modeling, planning, forecasting, analytics, and reporting for Sam’s Club Healthcare Merchandising organization, including Pharmacy, Optical, and Audiology. This portfolio spans multiple healthcare categories and business models, with a focus on driving profitable growth, improving customer access and experience, strengthening vendor and cross-functional partnerships, and enabling strategic decision-making across a highly regulated and rapidly evolving healthcare landscape. The role will partner closely with merchandising, operations, strategy, and other cross-functional teams to deliver insights, shape business choices, and support execution across both physical Clubs and digital channels.About the Team

What you'll do...
- Provides strategic financial leadership to the Healthcare Merchandising long-range and annual planning processes by preparing financial analysis and modeling; recommending future sales, margin, expense, and KPI targets; and planning and analyzing business performance in partnership with cross-functional teams.
- Partners with merchants and functional leaders across Pharmacy, Optical, and Audiology to understand business performance, key drivers, opportunities, and risks; documenting results for leadership review and providing follow-up analysis on financial issues and operational trends.
- Manages input to critical business decisions by developing financial models that incorporate assumptions, scenarios, and known risks; preparing presentations and supporting materials for recommendations; participating in business case development and presentations to senior leadership; and communicating forecasts, assumptions, and variances clearly and effectively.
- Collaborates with senior leadership to evaluate business performance and strategic priorities by identifying gaps between business goals and financial objectives; providing thought partnership on risks and opportunities; recommending mitigation strategies; supporting the budget process; and delivering insights on historical trends, customer behavior, competitive dynamics, and future business performance.
- Supports growth and transformation initiatives across Healthcare Merchandising by assessing new opportunities, category strategies, assortment changes, pricing actions, and customer offerings; ensuring financial trade-offs are understood and recommendations are grounded in data and aligned to enterprise priorities.
- Leads analytics and reporting efforts to improve visibility into category, program, and initiative performance; identifying drivers of results; highlighting key trends; and enabling timely, fact-based decision-making.
- Coordinates, completes, and oversees job-related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders; supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business
- Extensive experience in financial planning, analysis, and strategic planning within complex organizations.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence senior management.
- Expertise in risk management and control structures to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
- Strong capability in developing and communicating financial models, forecasts, and actionable insights.
- Demonstrated success in driving business performance through data-driven decision-making and operational improvements.
- Ability to lead talent development initiatives and foster a high-performing, ethical work environment.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00 - $220,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location).
