Position Summary...
The Senior Manager, Utility Partnerships, leads the management of utility vendor relationships across multiple regions, including the United States, Puerto Rico, and Canada. This role involves guiding rate reviews, participating in regulatory proceedings, and driving cost and operational efficiencies. The position requires developing strategic partnerships with utility leaders and trade organizations, overseeing incentive procurement, and managing business plans to support utility operations. Additionally, the role includes mentoring associates, fostering team development, and ensuring alignment with company policies and ethical standards to achieve organizational objectives effectively.Walmart’s Energy team oversees energy strategy, procurement, and utility partnerships across thousands of facilities in the U.S. and internationally. The team manages complex regulatory environments and infrastructure planning to ensure reliable and cost-effective energy supply. Combining financial analysis, strategic partnerships, and advanced data analytics, the team drives operational excellence and innovative energy solutions at scale. Members engage directly with utilities, regulators, and technology providers to influence markets and optimize costs. What you'll do...
- Manage utility partnerships across electric, gas, water, sewer, and propane vendors in the US, Puerto Rico, and Canada.
- Assess and provide guidance on rate reviews, regulations, and participate in regulatory proceedings to control utility costs.
- Track and monetize proposed and approved utility rate increases to support regulatory efforts and cost forecasting.
- Develop and execute utility products, services, and incentive procurement for energy efficiency and electric vehicle charging.
- Lead utility data acquisition initiatives and collaborate with utility leaders and trade organizations to support operational objectives.
- Drive business plans by identifying needs, removing barriers, and measuring performance.
- Mentor and develop associates, fostering a high-performing team environment.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
