Position Summary...

The Director, Offsite Energy Investments leads the development and execution of Walmart’s global renewable energy origination strategy, securing long-term partnerships and power purchase agreements to enable affordable clean energy and strengthen the grid. This role drives capital deployment into offsite renewable projects that deliver economic value and emissions reductions while managing a high-performing team. The position requires collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory engagement, to support sustainable energy initiatives. Strong leadership and strategic management skills are essential to optimize investment opportunities and contribute to Walmart’s commitment to renewable energy and environmental stewardship.

What you'll do...

• Lead bold, global strategy and execution of PPAs, green tariffs, and community solar to accelerate Walmart’s decarbonization goals
• Originate and scale transformative partnerships and large-scale renewable energy investments across global markets
• Enable grid-scale infrastructure that delivers affordable, reliable, and clean energy for the future power system
• Pioneer innovative deal structures and emerging technologies to unlock new energy solutions at scale
• Build and lead a high-performing team while collaborating cross-functionally to drive measurable impact
• Shape energy markets through policy engagement and strategic influence—advancing a resilient, low-carbon grid

What you'll bring:

• Proven expertise in negotiating and executing long-term renewable energy agreements and strategic partnerships.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00 - $220,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
