The Sr. Director, Enterprise Strategy will lead Walmart’s enterprise portfolio, shaping priorities and ensuring execution against the company’s most critical initiatives. This role integrates strategy, goals, and KPIs into a unified framework, governs enterprise prioritization, and drives visibility into performance, risks, and opportunities. Partnering closely with senior leadership, you will translate strategy into action, embed data-driven decision-making, and enhance strategic rigor across the business, helping position Walmart for sustained, long-term growth at global scale.

Focused on innovation and competitive positioning, it leads high-impact projects and explores future opportunities to ensure sustained success in a dynamic retail environment. This team plays a critical role in influencing strategic decisions at the highest organizational levels, fostering cross-functional collaboration and thought leadership.

The annual salary range for this position is $130,000.00 - $260,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :

What you'll do:
- Lead the enterprise strategy and portfolio process, setting priorities and ensuring alignment to Walmart’s most critical objectives
- Translate strategy into a clear, actionable portfolio of initiatives with defined goals, KPIs, and value creation targets
- Drive rigorous performance management, surfacing insights on progress, risks, and opportunities to senior leadership
- Partner cross-functionally to align strategy with execution, ensuring integration across business units and functions
- Lead high-impact, enterprise-wide initiatives from concept through execution
- Deliver data-driven insights and competitive intelligence to inform key strategic decisions
- Build and develop a high-performing team, fostering strong problem-solving, strategic thinking, and execution excellence
- Extensive experience in corporate strategy or consulting
- Proven track record of leading enterprise-level strategy and portfolio management, translating strategy into outcomes
- Strong executive presence
- Deep expertise in strategic planning, prioritization, and performance management
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and align business units
- Experience identifying risks and opportunities and embedding data-driven decision-making into business processes
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, compelling narratives that influence senior leaders and drive alignment on complex strategic decisions
- Ability to operate with ambiguity, manage competing priorities, and drive results in a fast-paced environment
- Strong people leadership skills with a track record of building and scaling high-performing teams
