What you'll do...

Senior Analyst, Communications The Senior Analyst - Communications is part of the Customer Engagement Services (CES) Communications & Engagement Team. We tell the CES story, showing how our work supports Walmart’s strategy and makes an impact inside and outside the company. Reporting to the Director, Communications & Engagement and working closely with the broader team, this role helps bring our story to life. You’ll connect CES’s work to the broader Walmart story, boost associate engagement, and turn day-to-day operations into stories that inform and inspire. This is a hands-on role for someone who loves storytelling, understands business, and can create messages that resonate with associates, leaders, and industry audiences. You’ll also partner with CES leaders and Corporate Communications & Events to share and celebrate the CES story with everyone ... from remote hourly associates to company leaders and external partners. About the CES Communications & Engagement Team We keep more than 3,000 CES associates across the U.S. and India informed, engaged, and inspired. Our team builds and maintains communication channels, manages the CES editorial calendar, and owns our internal audiences.   • Supporting the development of communications materials such as intra-divisional or cross-divisional messages, talking points, frequently asked questions, promotional materials, presentations, articles by using expertise in writing, multimedia, graphic design, or technology; balancing changing and competing priorities; gathering content from a variety of sources; creating drafts and revisions; and planning project activities.
  • Demonstrating up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices; supporting and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs; and building commitment for perspectives and rationales.
  • Evaluating the ongoing effectiveness of communication plans, programs, and initiatives by consulting with key stakeholders; soliciting, evaluating, and applying suggestions for improving efficiency and cost-effectiveness; applying key learnings from internal and external benchmarking; participating in meetings with assigned functional areas to understand status updates on communication processes, requests, and communications sent; and visiting field leadership to ensure communications are meeting field expectations.
  • Providing and supporting the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying business needs; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress and results; recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities.
  • Executing business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs; developing and communicating business plans and priorities; removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance; providing resources; identifying performance standards; measuring progress and adjusting performance accordingly; developing contingency plans; and demonstrating adaptability and supporting continuous learning.
  • Modeling compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by incorporating these into the development and implementation of business plans; using the Open Door Policy; and demonstrating and assisting others with how to apply these in executing business processes and practices.
  • Implementing strategic communications across the business by participating in cross-functional teams to develop appropriate communication strategy and evaluate business needs and desired outcomes; ensuring continuity of business plans; serving as a stakeholder and as a communication subject matter expert in initiatives; drafting, designing, reviewing, and editing communications and presentations; advising on the creation of communication elements related to the divisional plan; and executing plans to distribute communications.
  • Providing assistance with communication expertise for the business by managing cross-functional communication teams; creating and providing status updates to leaders; counseling functional area leaders and associates

  • You can do End-to-End Event Management: Ability to plan, coordinate, and execute both in-person and virtual events from concept through delivery, ensuring seamless experiences and alignment with business objectives.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communication, Public Relations, Technical Writing, Graphic Design, Liberal Arts, Fine Arts, or related field OR 2 years' experience in delivering corporate communication, public relations, journalism, executive communication, technical writing, graphic design, or related field. Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2–3 years of experience in communications, content strategy, or executive comms—ideally within large-scale organizations or matrixed environments.
  • Strong portfolio of work that demonstrates executive voice alignment, storytelling, and stakeholder-focused communication.
  • Familiarity with digital internal platforms (e.g., Spark, OneWalmart, Teams), and external-facing communications tools (e.g., LinkedIn, PR support).

The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00 - $130,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
