What you'll do...
The Senior Manager, Marketing Communications is a creative manager on the Marketing team, reporting to the Creative Director. This role is responsible for elevating the quality, clarity, and impact of all written marketing communications in support of product, brand, and growth marketing efforts for a B2B SaaS platform designed for Walmart suppliers.
The Senior Manager, Marketing Communications ensures that messaging is not only strategically aligned, but also compelling, cohesive, and creatively differentiated across touchpoints. They will oversee the development and production of high-quality content, manage and review the work of two marketing writers, and serve as an editorial advisor for high-visibility initiatives. A combined manager-contributor role, the Senior Manager will also write copy for their own roster of assignments.

What you’ll do
- Serve as a senior writer and manager, working with the Creative Director to uphold voice and creative standards.
- Translate product positioning and value propositions into creative, compelling, supplier-facing narratives.
- Produce content for deliverables ranging from case studies and e-books, to one-pagers and pitch decks, to email campaigns and blog posts.
- Ensure all written materials reflect a consistent, data-informed tone, tailored to each of our key audience types.
- Lead development of content that clearly, accurately, and persuasively communicates the value of Scintilla.
- Distill complex product capabilities into persuasive, benefit-led narratives—even if inputs are ambiguous.
- Manage two marketing writers, coaching them to strengthen storytelling, clarity, and persuasiveness.
- Foster a collaborative, craft-oriented culture within the writing team.
What you’ll bring
- Ability to write artful, evocative copy for B2B audiences that is unimpeachable in its grammar and logic.
- Exceptional editing and proofreading skills, with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in writing for a data or analytics product (think: dashboards, big data, SaaS).
- Proven ability to handle multiple concurrent projects and deliver high-quality work on deadline.
- Experience working on an in-house Creative, Brand, or Marketing team.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Advertising, Marketing, Creative Writing, or related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in marketing communications, content marketing, or agency copywriting.
- Demonstrated people-management experience, including oversight of at least one direct report.
- Professional portfolio, with significant collaborators and editors acknowledged.
- High competence in Microsoft Office 365 applications, especially Word and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience writing to B2B audiences of buyers and users of SaaS products.
- Knowledge of retail business structures and operations; bonus points for direct experience with Walmart.
- Basic proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud applications.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
