Position Summary… What You’ll Do…
Your role as Senior Manager, Internal Tool Operations is to serve as the central point of contact for tool access, governance, and operational excellence across the Walmart Connect organization. You will ensure that internal tools are accessible, well-maintained, and aligned to business needs—acting as the voice of the end user when engaging with product and engineering partners.
This role requires a highly organized and technically fluent associate who can navigate complex, multi-layered organizations. You will be responsible for managing access policies, triaging and escalating system issues, coordinating feature requests, and performing administrative configurations in Salesforce and other internal platforms.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing end-to-end tool access provisioning and deprovisioning across internal platforms, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of access requests
- Maintaining and enforcing tool access policies
- Serving as the primary escalation point for tool-related bugs and system issues—triaging, documenting, and escalating to appropriate engineering or vendor partners
- Coordinating and prioritizing feature enhancement requests from internal stakeholders, tracking status and communicating updates across teams
- Performing minor configuration changes, field updates, workflow adjustments, and user management tasks within Salesforce (Sales Cloud/CRM)
- Partnering with cross-functional teams to define tool priorities and secure commitments for execution and continuous improvement
- Building and maintaining comprehensive documentation for tool access procedures, escalation paths, and policy updates
- Coordinating, completing, and overseeing job-related activities by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders across business units
- Identifying and addressing operational improvement opportunities, demonstrating adaptability and promoting continuous learning
- Tracking and analyzing key performance indicators related to tool health, access SLAs, and ticket resolution
- Supporting plans and initiatives to meet business needs while building accountability for and measuring progress in achieving results

- Ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams with competing priorities
- Business intuition with an understanding of how internal tooling impacts revenue-generating teams
Personal and professional traits:
- Extensive experience in retail, advertising, operations, or a related field
Experience in the following areas would be positively viewed:
- Salesforce administration or CRM platform management
- IT operations, tool governance, or enterprise software administration
- Retail, Grocery, eCommerce, or Consumer Packaged Goods environments
- Corporate strategy, business operations, or other strategic roles
- Large multi-national or matrixed corporate organizations
- Working with vendor or product engineering teams on escalation and feature management

Bentonville, Arkansas US-30008: The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00
Hoboken, New Jersey US-10279: The annual salary range for this position is $108,000.00 - $216,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
