About the team:
The Enterprise Strategy team at Walmart leads the development and execution of the company’s long-term strategic direction. Organized into four key pillars, the team integrates enterprise priorities, supports executive strategy, manages the portfolio, and drives growth initiatives. Collaborating closely with senior leadership, the team transforms data-driven insights into actionable plans that address complex business challenges. Focused on innovation and competitive positioning, the group guides high-impact projects and explores future opportunities to ensure Walmart’s sustained success in a dynamic retail environment. This role offers direct influence on critical decisions at the highest organizational levels.
What you'll do:
  • Translate business strategies into financial targets and actionable plans to drive sustainable growth.
  • Identify risks and develop controlled risk management approaches aligned with organizational goals.
  • Lead strategic planning efforts by analyzing market, economic, and competitive trends to inform decision-making.
  • Build and maintain collaborative partnerships across functions to support business priorities and innovation.
  • Provide thought leadership and influence change through data-driven insights and advanced analytics.
  • Mentor and coach teams to enhance strategic problem-solving and execution capabilities.
  • Oversee implementation of improvements to planning processes and operational frameworks.

The annual salary range for this position is $130,000.00 - $260,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
