Position Summary...
The Manager, Operations Finance plays a critical role in driving financial planning and analysis to support business performance and strategic decision-making. This position involves preparing detailed financial models, analyzing variances, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate reporting and risk mitigation. The role requires effective communication and partnership with operational partners and senior leadership as it relates to supporting membership insights, regional Vice President support, and other partners within Finance and other areas across many adhoc club analyses and testing measurement.About the team:
The Operations Finance team supports regional field associates and key operational areas such as labor planning, incentives, asset protection, fulfillment, and fresh operations. This team drives financial strategy by collaborating across departments to improve operational efficiency and align financial planning with business objectives. They deliver essential insights through financial analysis, forecasting, and modeling to aid decision-making and risk management. Committed to accurate financial reporting and continuous improvement, the team plays a vital role in advancing Walmart’s operational excellence and sustainable growth.
What you'll do...
- Provide strategic insight and support core operational run-the-business routines through detailed analysis, modeling, and recommending expense targets.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to analyze business performance and communicate significant financial variations. Own partnerships with regional field leadership and manage P&L of an area of our business. Captain membership in Operations Finance and dive into key insights of how to improve the member experience in our clubs in partnership with other Finance teams.
- Develop financial models and presentations to support business decisions and communicate forecasts to senior management.
- Collaborate with leadership to identify performance gaps, support budgeting, and provide insights on trends and risks.

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $155,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location).
