Role summary:The Energy Asset and Portfolio Management team oversees the operational and financial performance of Walmart’s energy portfolio. This group manages generation assets, operations, maintenance, and contractual agreements to ensure a reliable energy supply while optimizing costs and mitigating risks. The team monitors asset performance, tracks financial outcomes, manages regulatory and market risks, and identifies opportunities to enhance efficiency and value. Their work supports informed decision-making and advances long-term operational reliability and financial goals, contributing to Walmart’s commitment to effective energy management and sustainable business practices.

What you'll do...
Project Performance Management & Reporting:- Conduct financial and operational analysis of the DG portfolio relative to development underwriting assumptions
- Analyze project data, refine contractual frameworks, and resolve performance issues
- Support Walmart’s multi-billion-dollar capital deployment strategy through disciplined portfolio oversight
- Develop annual Operating Expense (OpEx) plans
- Provide monthly forecasts and variance explanations to corporate finance partners
- Drive execution of multiple initiatives and portfolio-level priorities
- Identify operational and customer needs
- Establish performance standards and track progress
- Foster adaptability and a culture of continuous improvement
- Evaluate the effectiveness of programs and initiatives
- Engage stakeholders to identify opportunities for efficiency and cost-effectiveness
What you'll bring:
- Proven expertise in energy management, renewable energy, and energy consumption optimization.
- Demonstrated experience in project management, including developing and executing business plans and energy-saving initiatives.
- Ability to analyze utility rates, negotiate contracts, and manage energy costs effectively.
- Skilled in leading cross-functional teams, mentoring associates, and fostering a performance-driven environment.
- Strategic planning capabilities with a focus on continuous improvement and process optimization.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
