Position Summary...
Walmart is building a retail-integrated, convenient, reliable, and affordable Retail EV Charging Network. Join a high-growth team within the world’s largest retailer to define and scale a retail-integrated fast-charging experience. This role (Senior Manager, Business Development, Enterprise Strategy) will focus on driving growth via enterprise expansion.This position reports to the Director, Business Strategy and will be based in Bentonville, Arkansas.
About the Team:
The Walmart Energy Transformation team is a newly reimagined group reporting to the COO of Walmart US and the Chief Sustainability Officer, focused on achieving Walmart’s regenerative energy goals. Comprised of seasoned energy veterans, the team collaborates across various Walmart departments to support decarbonization efforts. They are innovators and change agents with varied backgrounds in utilities, banking, clean energy consulting, and more.
What you'll do...
- Lead New Segment Launches: Drive the Sam’s Club EV launch, managing all requirements across PMD and Global Tech to ensure two new Clubs open this year.
- Facilitate Executive Governance: Prepare materials for and lead the Sam’s Club Steering Committee to drive key strategic decisions.
- Define the Operating Model: Document and formalize the end-to-end retail EV charging operating model to identify scalable processes for enterprise expansion.
- Manage Capital & Strategy: Develop capital requests and collaborate with partners to land deployment timelines and enterprise-wide capital deployment strategy.
- Drive Cross-Functional Execution: Serve as the central conduit for Sam’s Club requirements across the project lifecycle with the broader Walmart Charging Team and key partner teams such as Tech..
What you’ll bring…
- 5+ years in strategy, program management, consulting, or business operations within a high-growth commercial environment.
- Proven ability to navigate a matrixed organization and build consensus across a variety of internal stakeholders.
- Strong operational acumen with the ability to translate complex objectives into clear, data-driven strategy.
- Expertise in managing multiple workstreams across a full project lifecycle.
- Highly effective communication skills and experience with visual storytelling for executive leadership.
- Bring a strong bias for action and a solutions-oriented mindset for new business segments.
- Build strong cross-functional relationships grounded in trust and shared vision.
- Maintain a drive and ability to create processes that are scalable and repeatable across Walmart, Inc..
- Balance attention to detail with the high emotional intelligence needed to manage stakeholder committees.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
