About the team:
The EBS Disputes & Exceptions Management Engineering group delivers precise, efficient solutions within Walmart’s Finance Tech ecosystem. The team designs and maintains tools that enable internal teams and external suppliers to resolve payment discrepancies swiftly, leveraging automation to reduce manual effort. Focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence, the group fosters collaboration and innovation to support seamless processes. By integrating advanced technologies and upholding high standards, the team enhances efficiency and strengthens partnerships across the platform, contributing significantly to Walmart’s mission of operational excellence and reliable financial management.
What you'll do:
- Analyze and classify requirements to align solutions with business and technical needs.
- Design scalable, maintainable software components adhering to architecture and quality standards.
- Develop and configure code following coding standards, ensuring security and performance compliance.
- Create and execute test cases to validate functionality and identify defects.
- Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain high availability.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to assess risks and recommend corrective actions.
- Automate routine tasks to support continuous integration and delivery processes.
- Mentor team members and contribute to technical knowledge sharing.
What you'll bring:
- Proven expertise in software architecture, design patterns, and scalable distributed systems.
- Strong proficiency in object-oriented programming and coding standards using languages such as Java, JavaScript, React, or Python.
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and automation scripting.
- Ability to analyze and translate business requirements into functional and non-functional technical solutions.
- Skilled in debugging, defect management, and root cause analysis to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Familiarity with telemetry, testing methodologies, and secure software development lifecycle practices.
- Demonstrated capability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
