Position Summary...
Position Summary:Tech Prioritization steers Walmart’s technology investments at scale—aligning strategy, funding, and people to maximize enterprise value. We drive decisive focus on what gets built, when, and why—so we move faster, reduce friction, and convert Walmart’s scale into structural competitive advantage.
We are seeking a Staff Product Manager to lead critical horizontal integration capabilities across our internal Product Operating System. This is a deep individual contributor role responsible for expanding the reach and impact of our tooling ecosystem through integrations, platform standards, and cross-system interoperability.
This role is for a product leader who thrives on architecturally complex, multi-system challenges that directly influence how hundreds of product teams operate. You will partner closely with GTP Engineering as the product counterpart to their support of the Airtable platform and related integrations, ensuring our tools scale reliably and unlock new enterprise use cases.
This role focuses on platform leverage—not reporting ownership—and requires strong systems thinking, technical fluency, and cross-functional influence.
What you'll do...
What You’ll Do You will define and deliver integration capabilities that expand the reach and utility of our product management toolkits, often requiring alignment across multiple independent engineering and product teams. You’ll serve as the product expert for cross-system integrations, working in close partnership with GTP Engineering to define scalable architecture, API contracts, data models, and automation strategies. You will partner directly with engineering to create and maintain a roadmap that balances new integration capabilities with technical debt management, reliability improvements, and performance optimization. You will establish integration standards and reusable patterns that prevent redundant builds and ensure enterprise coherence across teams leveraging Airtable and connected systems (e.g., Jira, Confluence, BigQuery, Power BI). You will proactively identify scaling risks—technical, operational, and organizational—and drive product decisions that mitigate long-term friction. You will define clear adoption pathways for downstream teams, including documentation, enablement materials, and operational guidance that ensure high-quality integration and minimal post-launch disruption. You will act as a thought partner and mentor to other product managers on topics such as systems thinking, cross-product dependencies, and technical communication. What You’ll Bring You should have 6+ years of Product Management experience, including a strong track record of launching and scaling horizontal platforms, APIs, internal tools, or core system capabilities in a large-scale enterprise environment. A candidate will demonstrate deep systems thinking and the ability to operate effectively in technically ambiguous, architecturally complex environments. Expect candidates to possess strong technical fluency—you are comfortable understanding system architecture, data models, API integrations, and platform trade-offs, and can engage confidently with engineering leads in design and architecture discussions. You will show evidence of successful engineering partnership, operating as a product counterpart on shared platform ownership rather than working in isolation. Expect strong experience managing cross-team dependencies, aligning multiple stakeholders, and driving integration standards across distributed organizations. A candidate must demonstrate execution focus with strategic foresight—the ability to make product decisions today that reduce future scalability constraints. Experience working on internal enterprise tooling, developer platforms, workflow automation systems, or productivity platforms is strongly preferred. Experience with Airtable or comparable configurable platforms (schema design, automation logic, permissions, governance) is highly valued. Preferred Qualifications Experience in fast-moving, product-led technology environments, demonstrating comfort with ambiguity and evolving requirements. Expertise in internal tools or platform ecosystems, particularly where adoption and integration standards are critical to success. Experience in data governance, access controls, or compliance-related platform capabilities at enterprise scale. Demonstrated ability to drive adoption of horizontal capabilities through structured enablement, documentation, and influence rather than authority. Minimum Qualifications...
