Position Summary...

The Senior Manager, Innovations – Quality & Safety helps Health & Wellness deliver safe, reliable, and scalable care by turning complex operational and safety challenges into measurable, data‑driven solutions. This role identifies opportunities across the Quality & Safety portfolio, designs and tests new approaches (from proof‑of‑concept through scaled deployment), and partners closely with business, product, and engineering teams to implement improvements that strengthen performance, reduce risk, and improve consistency.
This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys solving ambiguous problems, building analytics‑enabled solutions, and leading cross‑functional initiatives that drive tangible outcomes.

What you'll do...

Lead innovation design and solution development
  • Identify and assess opportunities to improve how teams operate and deliver outcomes (e.g., reducing risk, improving reliability, strengthening performance).
  • Translate business needs into clear solution concepts, partnering with stakeholders to evaluate feasibility, tradeoffs, and impact.
  • Design and deliver solutions that can scale—using analytics, process improvements, and technology enablement to improve outcomes.
Drive proof‑of‑concepts (POCs) and scale what works
  • Determine the right test‑and‑learn approach, design pilots/POCs, and build the measurement plan needed to evaluate success.
  • Partner with development teams to move successful concepts from POC to production, including requirements, validation, and readiness for broader rollout.
  • Support enablement for adoption (communications, training needs, and partner readiness) to ensure solutions stick.
Build analytics, insights, and visibility that accelerate decisions
  • Create and maintain dashboards, visualizations, and analytical outputs that help teams prioritize work, monitor performance, and evaluate improvement initiatives.
  • Measure impact using data‑driven approaches (e.g., pre/post analysis, trend monitoring), and translate results into clear recommendations.
Enable data‑supported ways of working
  • Help teams establish practical, repeatable methods for prioritization, root‑cause problem solving, and continuous improvement—using data to guide where attention will have the biggest impact.
Lead cross‑functional execution
  • Drive multiple workstreams by clarifying priorities, removing blockers, setting performance standards, tracking progress, and keeping stakeholders aligned.
  • Communicate succinctly with senior leaders—sharing insights, recommendations, risks, and decisions needed to move forward.
What You’ll Bring
  • Experience leading cross‑functional initiatives from concept to delivery in complex, fast‑moving environments.
  • Strong analytical problem‑solving skills—able to turn messy problems into structured hypotheses, measurable tests, and scalable solutions.
  • Ability to build executive‑ready narratives that connect data to decisions and clearly articulate tradeoffs and recommendations.
  • Comfort partnering across business, product, engineering, and data teams; able to influence without authority.
  • A continuous improvement mindset—curious, practical, and focused on outcomes over activity.
