In this role, you will own the end-to-end candidate experience from application through onboarding, ensuring we consistently put the candidate first while maintaining the scale, discipline, and operational excellence required in a global hiring environment. You will play a critical role in supporting Walmart’s Global Talent Acquisition transformation, working closely with our Talent Acquisition Delivery Leaders to ensure candidates and hiring managers are supported with speed, care, and consistency.
This leader will oversee the teams responsible for supporting candidates throughout the hiring journey, managing escalations, and ensuring recruiting teams have the operational support they need to deliver results. You will serve as a key connector between recruiting delivery teams, business leaders, and the broader talent organization—ensuring feedback from the business and candidate experience is translated into meaningful improvements.
Success in this role requires strong listening skills, operational discipline, and the ability to diagnose root causes and implement sustainable solutions that improve the experience for candidates, hiring managers, and recruiting teams alike.
Lead transformation of talent acquisition ways of working, evolving operating models, processes, and team capabilities to deliver faster, more agile, and insight-driven hiring outcomes aligned with Walmart’s enterprise transformation.
Create & operationalize Walmart’s candidate experience strategy and execution, ensuring candidates are supported from application through onboarding with a consistent, high-quality experience.
Lead the teams responsible for candidate support, operational recruiting assistance, and escalation management across the hiring process.
Partner closely with Talent Acquisition Delivery Leaders to ensure recruiting teams have the capacity, tools, and support needed to meet hiring demands.
Ensure the candidate experience remains a top priority while protecting quality and service during periods of high hiring volume.
Lead the identification and resolution of escalated hiring issues, ensuring candidates and hiring managers receive timely, thoughtful support.
Drive improvements to ways of working, documentation, and operational processes as part of Walmart’s global talent acquisition transformation.
Act as a key feedback channel to the broader talent organization by sharing insights from candidates, recruiting teams, and business leaders.
Identify root causes of experience gaps and implement sustainable, scalable solutions that improve service and efficiency.
Build and lead a high-performing, service-oriented team that operates with discipline, accountability, and a strong candidate-first mindset.
What You’ll Bring
Significant experience leading large-scale recruiting operations or candidate experience functions within complex organizations.
Demonstrated experience building high-performing teams focused on delivering excellent service.
Experience supporting or leading transformation efforts in talent acquisition or recruiting operations.
Proven ability to improve and scale candidate experience programs in high-volume or global hiring environments.
Strong operational and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose root causes and implement sustainable solutions.
Exceptional listening and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate feedback into meaningful action.
Exceptional executive presence, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
Ability to partner effectively with recruiting leaders, HR partners, and business stakeholders across a global organization.

The annual salary range for this position is $130,000.00 - $260,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
