The Construction team leads the remodeling of Walmart stores by managing complex projects from planning through completion. They collaborate with contractors and internal partners to ensure budgets, schedules, and quality standards are met. The team provides leadership and guidance on construction initiatives, enforces compliance with regulations, and drives continuous improvement. Focused on delivering high-quality results, they coordinate resources and resolve challenges to support operational goals. This team values integrity, accountability, and effective communication to maintain excellence in project execution and contribute to Walmart’s ongoing success.
What you'll do...
- Oversee construction budgets by reviewing preconstruction estimates, tracking reports, and approving payments and change orders.
- Provide leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams on construction projects and design initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with laws and regulations by establishing standards, monitoring contractor performance, and resolving noncompliance issues.
- Manage complex construction projects, coordinating schedules, resolving conflicts, and representing the company with public officials.
- Collaborate with facility management to minimize operational impact and ensure timely project milestones.
- Monitor construction quality, material procurement, and issue resolution through project completion and warranty periods.
- Develop business strategies, analyze costs, and promote continuous improvement and talent development.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00 - $220,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
