Position Summary...

This role is part of the Store Associates Tech team, focused on developing innovative solutions that empower both store associates and enhance store operations. Our mission is to create a seamless, frictionless experience for associates—whether they are joining our stores or engaging through our online platforms—by building robust omni-channel solutions.

In this position, you will contribute to the development of both front-end and back-end technology solutions.
As a developer, you will design and implement scalable, multi-tenant solutions that serve both U.S. and international markets. You will have the opportunity to build highly scalable services capable of processing millions of requests per day and tackle complex software engineering challenges using state-of-the-art technologies.

What you'll do...

What you’ll bring:

• Hands-on engineering and development experience on React JS and ,React Native, TypeScript and mobile app development.

• At least 4 years of hands-on experience in developing large scale distributed full stack applications using , React JS , Java/J2EE stack.

• Good experience with Expo Cli, iOS, Android, React State Management - Redux , Jest, ESLint, ES6.

• Any experience in Java, Spring boot, Java, Kafka, SQL & microservices.

• Good understanding of cloud concepts - Kubernetes, docker, etc.

• System architecture involving event processing, database management and data driven execution.

• Utilizing AI tools to better organize, manage and optimize existing system designs and looking for ways to improvements.

• Able to understand requirements, participate in and reason about application design discussions, create appropriately complex application designs, create and deploy CRQs, and effectively troubleshoot applications in the event of production issues.

• Experience in developing CI/CD pipelines would be an added advantage.

• Awareness of cloud offerings from Microsoft Azure like Web Apps, SQL, Cosmos, EventHub, Service Bus, Blobs would be an added advantage.

• Any experience or exposure in Retail applications like Store System, My Walmart will add value.

• Knowledge in AI and experience on use AI tools like CoPilot, Claude to develop project task

What you’ll do:

• · Design, Development, Reviews etc. Walmart scale - exposure to various Walmart business units like Store system, Walmart eCommerce, Fulfilment, Inventory, etc

• Gain hands on experience to design scalable solutions, work with Walmart business, product.

• Gain development experience of sophisticated, scalable, and high performing system.

• Utilize your 4- 6 years of Full Stack development experience for the development of highly scalable Web applications .

• Sound knowledge of Agile concepts and worked on tools like Jira for story tracking.

• Demonstrated high level of ownership in the Project having worked on one or more modules independently.

• Strong computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.

• Proficient in software development using CICD Pipelines and source code management using Git/Git Hub/DevOps.

• Sound knowledge of Relational SQL and NoSQL databases.

• Any cloud exposure like GCP, Azure or AWS.

• Hands-on experience on designing applications that run on mobile.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
