Position Summary...
The Senior Manager, Asset Protection leads program governance and end-to-end execution of Asset Protection (AP) programs and strategic initiatives across Walmart U.S. stores. This role drives disciplined delivery from pilot through enterprise rollout, ensuring budget oversight, vendor alignment, and measurable field impact.As the central point of contact for program governance, funding support, leadership reporting, and cross-functional execution, you will partner closely with Field AP, Store Operations, Merchants, Finance, Realty, and external vendors to deliver scalable protection solutions that reduce shrink, improve the store experience, and enable long-term innovation.
This role is dedicated to Walmart U.S. (WMUS) store Asset Protection, directly supporting store leadership and field execution.
What you'll do...
- Lead AP program governance and end-to-end execution across multiple store initiatives, from pilot through enterprise rollout, including milestones, KPIs, and risk mitigation.
- Own budget management and financial oversight, including spend tracking, forecasting, and ROI reporting in partnership with Finance.
- Deliver executive-level reporting and insights, translating field performance into clear updates for senior leadership.
- Manage vendor strategy and procurement for protection assets and innovation solutions, including evaluation, onboarding, and performance management.
- Enable store execution through training, launch communications, and field issue resolution, ensuring solutions balance shrink reduction with associate and customer experience.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement by evaluating emerging technologies, supporting AI-enabled tools/analytics, and recommending scalable strategies.
- Deep knowledge of Walmart store operations and Asset Protection practices.
- Experience leading complex, cross-functional programs with measurable outcomes.
- Strong financial acumen, including budget management, spend reviews, and ROI tracking.
- Strong executive communication skills, including creating and presenting leadership-ready materials.
- Experience in vendor management and procurement.
- Ability to translate field needs into scalable, enterprise solutions.
- Strong analytical capability (e.g., KPI tracking, data interpretation, insight-to-action).
- Experience onboarding and scaling programs across large field organizations.
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity and innovation-driven environments.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
