Role summary Join Walmart as a Software Engineer II, contributing to the design, development, and delivery of scalable software solutions. About the team The Fulfillment Team at Walmart Health & Wellness focuses on advancing pharmacy fulfillment through scalable, secure, and automated event-driven systems. As part of Walmart’s Global Tech, the team partners across functions to design and deliver reliable, high-quality features that improve operational efficiency and compliance. Emphasizing technical expertise and continuous improvement, team members contribute to innovative healthcare delivery solutions that support Walmart’s commitment to exceptional service and enhancing lives. What you'll do- Develop, test, and support software features, APIs, user interfaces, and ML model components in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Participate in project discovery and design phases, translating requirements into scalable, maintainable technical solutions.
- Write clean, efficient, and documented code following object-oriented programming principles and best practices.
- Integrate AI/ML components and leverage generative AI tools to enhance development efficiency.
- Conduct code reviews, debugging, and quality assurance to ensure high standards.
- Automate repetitive tasks and implement monitoring for continuous delivery and system reliability.
- Experience in .NET Framework with C# and SQL databases, including writing complex queries to meet business requirements.
- Experience in software design, development, and delivery using object-oriented programming and iterative methodologies.
- Proficiency in object-oriented programming and documentation-based coding practices to ensure modular, maintainable software.
- Experience in debugging, testing, and implementing CI/CD best practices.
- Skilled in analyzing complex requirements to design scalable, maintainable technical solutions.
- Hands-on experience with RESTful Microservices and application development using .Net
- Experience in API design, development, and management
- Experience delivering features and components through collaborative engineering teams, including APIs, user interfaces, and ML models.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze requirements and translate them into technical designs.
- Experience in continuous integration, automated testing, and deployment within full software development lifecycles.
- Ability to integrate AI/ML components and leverage generative AI tools to enhance development efficiency.
- Demonstrated capability in debugging, quality assurance, and monitoring application performance.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $155,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
