Role summary:The Manager, Assortment Insights leads the development and validation of category modular assortments and design layouts, aligning strategies with overall category goals. This role oversees modular cluster variations and analyzes data to identify trends and market gaps. Collaborating cross-functionally, the manager drives continuous improvement in departmental and category assortment strategies and alignment. This position fosters strong stakeholder relationships, promotes accountability, and supports talent development to deliver effective merchandising solutions that enhance business performance and customer satisfaction.
About the team:
The Assortment Insights team leads the development of data-driven assortment strategies that enhance modular and planogram analytics. This team analyzes purchasing behavior, clustering models, and localization insights to optimize product flow and space decisions. Collaborating closely with Food Merchandising stakeholders, the team ensures assortments evolve strategically to meet customer needs and business goals. Emphasizing accountability and data-driven decision making, the team supports category and assortment strategies that drive effective execution and continuous improvement across store clusters.
What you'll do:
- Develop and validate category modular assortments and design layouts aligned with overall category strategy.
- Analyze customer behavior and decision trees to develop insights and strategies that enable positive shopping experiences
- Analyze market data to identify relevant assortment gaps and opportunities to better serve localized customer needs
- Analyze sales patterns to determine store clusters and create predominant modular assortment and merchandise flow strategies tailored to these clusters.
- Oversee modifications to modular assortments based on individual store needs and ensure accuracy in modular execution.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to support business objectives and continuous improvement.

The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00 - $130,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
