As a Staff Technical Program Manager in the Finance Retail Enablement (FRE) Accounts Payable (AP) Organization, you will lead large complex programs/projects that span across both internal Walmart operations teams as well as thousands of Suppliers around the world.

The Disputes & Exceptions Management Engineering team within the EBS Accounts Payable (AP) organization enables seamless, accurate, and efficient processes within Walmart's Finance Tech ecosystem by managing disputes and exceptions with timely resolution & precision. We design and maintain tools that empower internal teams and external suppliers to resolve payment discrepancies quickly and effectively, leveraging automation to minimize manual effort and ensure smooth collaboration. Through continuous improvement and a commitment to excellence, we strive to create a frictionless experience that supports Walmart's broader vision of operational efficiency and partnership success.

What you’ll do:
- Lead cross-functional teams, ensuring collaboration, alignment, and effective communication.
- Utilize advanced project management tools to monitor KPIs, milestones, and deliverables, addressing potential roadblocks to keep projects on schedule.
- Establish and enforce rigorous quality standards, conducting thorough reviews to meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Support discovery and product documentation, including hands-on requirements gathering and creation of PRDs.
- Develop clear communication plans to keep stakeholders informed of project progress, fostering transparency and trust.
- Proactively address project-related challenges, employing strong problem-solving skills to maintain momentum.
- Drive adoption of industry-leading project management methodologies, refining processes to enhance efficiency.
- Conduct post-project evaluations to assess performance, capture lessons learned and identify improvement opportunities.
- Work closely with Program, Product, Business, and Design partners to plan work (by sprint and by quarter) and ensuring that engineering tech priorities are also included.
- Monitor and evaluate the progress of the projects against approved milestones and timelines.
What you’ll bring
- 10+ years of Technical Management experience in a related industry, with ownership of programs/products/features, scoping requirements, planning milestones, and project management.
- 3+ years of experience leading software development projects with aggressive schedules and significant business impact.
- Strong communicator in both verbal and written forms, adept at communicating upwards, outwards, and downwards.
- Experience with agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum).
- Experience with project delivery for large, cross-functional projects.
- Experience with object-oriented development and design, preferably in both client and server development solutions.
- Experience and proficiency with web technologies and tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a passion for data-driven decision-making.
- Domain expertise related to Accounts Payable is highly desirable.
- Excellent decision-making skills with the ability to balance conflicting interests in a complex and fast-paced environment.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00 - $220,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
