Position Summary...
As the Senior Data Analytics – Driver Experience, you will play a key role in strengthening the Spark driver journey within Walmart’s Last Mile Delivery network. You will uncover experience defects, operational inefficiencies, and performance trends, transforming complex data into insights that guide strategic decisions across the business.The Driver Experience team is focused on understanding and advocating for Spark drivers, eliminating friction in their workflow, and improving platform reliability and satisfaction. You will support this mission by building trusted dashboards, advanced analytics, and AI-enabled insights that illuminate opportunities for improvement and help teams act with precision.
This role partners closely with product, engineering, operations, and Communication teams to ensure the driver perspective is represented in roadmaps and initiatives. Your analytical depth, business acumen, and ability to influence through data will directly shape how Walmart improves driver engagement, scales Last Mile operations, and strengthens Spark’s position as the preferred platform for gig drivers.
What you'll do...
- Be a change agent by using advanced SQL, dashboards, AI tools, and analytical rigor to surface driver experience defects, quantify impact, and enable data-driven decisions.
- Be a visionary and strong data storyteller, transforming complex datasets into clear, compelling insights that highlight opportunities to improve the Spark driver journey.
- Strategically evaluate business and operational issues, connecting data patterns to the needs of drivers and the business to guide prioritization and problem-solving.
- Influence stakeholders across product, engineering, operations, and leadership, using well-structured analytics and recommendations to drive alignment and action.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment, delivering high-quality analyses, scalable dashboards, and automated reporting that accelerate decision-making and operational excellence.
What you’ll bring
- Advanced SQL expertise and strong data modeling skills, with the ability to work across large, complex datasets and build accurate, scalable foundations for analytics and reporting.
- Proficiency in Tableau (or similar BI tools), including building intuitive dashboards, operational scorecards, and self-serve analytics that support both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience applying analytical methods to real business problems, translating raw data into insights that improve operational performance, customer/driver experience, and strategic decision-making.
- Strong communication and storytelling abilities, capable of simplifying complex analysis, influencing cross-functional teams, and presenting clear recommendations to senior leadership.
- A proactive, detail-oriented mindset, thriving in a fast-paced environment while owning deliverables end-to-end, driving continuous improvement, and leveraging AI tools to accelerate analytics and insight generation.

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $155,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
