Supplier Negotiations & Vendor Management
  • Provide administrative support to merchants during supplier negotiations.
  • Manage purchase orders across suppliers, merchants, and vendors for assigned categories/subcategories.
Category Administration
  • Support merchants in resolving supplier issues and onboarding new suppliers for stores and online.
  • Obtain missing item data to ensure accurate item setup.
  • Support activity planning, store training, and store communications.
Shopper & Customer Experience
  • Execute customer communication and education programs in stores.
  • Collaborate with the modular team to ensure accurate category representation.
  • Own search queries and product page content quality for assigned categories.
  • Follow taxonomy guidelines and coordinate with Site Merchandising for campaigns.
  • Implement search‑result rules for shared search terms.
Omnichannel Customer Focus
  • Understand customer behavior and demand trends across channels.
  • Guide suppliers and vendors in developing customer‑focused processes and products.
Budgeting & Forecasting
  • Track category performance against financial targets.
  • Produce sales reports analyzing subcategory results.
  • Support forecasting and provide input into subcategory‑level budgeting.
  • Partner with planners and analysts on financial plans and inventory purchases.
Features & Promotions
  • Develop and execute approved features across stores and online.
  • Implement monthly feature themes.
  • Support modular strategy recommendations.
Data & Digital Acumen
  • Use data tools to explore data, perform basic analysis, and derive insights.
  • Build visualizations and reports to support decision‑making.
  • Identify and support technology improvements within scope of work.
Item Setup & Maintenance
  • Support decisions on primary item configuration for eCommerce ordering.
  • Assist with cross‑referencing and item setup for stores.
  • Support sample management processes for category imagery.
Pricing
  • Support COOP agreement administration.
  • Recommend base or adjusted prices for non‑defensive replenishable items.
Modular & Assortment Execution
  • Support implementation of modular layout principles.
  • Execute and adjust after walkthroughs; provide recommendations based on findings.
  • Support decisions on corporate quantities, committed buys, allocated items, and shared items.
  • Assist in determining final modular assortments.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
  • Apply up‑to‑date expertise to improve processes and action plans.
  • Build stakeholder relationships to identify needs and deliver business solutions.
  • Monitor progress, identify improvement opportunities, and adapt to competing priorities.

What You’ll Bring

  • Strong organizational and administrative skills supporting merchants and suppliers.
  • Ability to analyze data, create basic reports, and build clear data visualizations.
  • Understanding of omnichannel customer behavior and retail trends.
  • Experience with item setup, content accuracy, taxonomy, and search optimization.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross‑functionally (merchants, planners, site merchandising, modular teams).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, adjust based on post‑analysis insights, and support ongoing business needs.
  • Problem‑solving skills to address supplier issues and recommend pricing, assortment, and modular decisions.
  • Strong communication skills for store, vendor, and internal team interactions.
  • Comfort navigating digital tools and identifying opportunities for technology enhancements.

You’ll Knock Our Socks Off If You Have

  • Previous experience working in retail environments, particularly within fast‑paced or customer‑facing roles.
  • An established track record in Style and Trend, including familiarity with seasonal fashion cycles, market influences, product presentation, and customer preferences.
  • A strong understanding of how trend‑forward assortments, visual execution, and customer behavior intersect to drive sales across both stores and eCommerce.
  • The ability to identify emerging trends and translate them into actionable insights for merchants, suppliers, and cross‑functional partners.

The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00 - $130,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
