Position Summary...

What you'll do...

The Manager – Operations is responsible for driving the layout, design, and capacity execution strategies that support Walmart U.S. in-store fulfillment operations. This role partners closely with cross‑functional teams—including Real Estate, Field Operations, and Design—to ensure stores are equipped to handle evolving fulfillment demands such as Internal Pickup (IP) parcels, same‑day delivery, and emerging fulfillment services.   • Leading all layout, execution, design, and capacity planning efforts that enable high‑volume in‑store fulfillment across Walmart U.S. stores.
  • Reviewing and approving layout designs submitted by Real Estate for remodels or store projects, ensuring alignment with store fulfillment guidelines and operational requirements.
  • Overseeing the rollout of new store initiatives related to fulfillment, ensuring all projects meet legal, safety, and operational compliance standards.
  • Providing direct support to field and regional leadership regarding fulfillment execution, operational challenges, and improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborating with Real Estate, Design, and Field teams to ensure store fulfillment areas are equipped to meet workload demands, including IP parcel volume, same‑day delivery, and scaling initiatives.
  • Working closely with executive‑level leaders—such as Regional Vice Presidents and Field Support Teams—to drive alignment and execution consistency.
  • Supporting a Senior Manager in business unit (BU) alignment for all fulfillment‑related execution work.
  • Providing training, mentoring, and guidance to field partners and cross‑functional collaborators related to fulfillment operations and execution standards.
  • Serving as a subject‑matter expert in store operations, especially store fulfillment, best practices and execution workflows.
  • Leading home office–driven initiatives that improve operational efficiency and fulfillment capabilities across the chain.
  • Serving as project lead for new fulfillment processes or operational changes, ensuring smooth adoption and store readiness.
You’ll sweep us off our feet if...
  • You have a deep understanding of fulfillment capacity planning, layout design, and operational workflows.
  • You have a strong background in store operations, with a focus on in‑store fulfillment.
  • You have previous experience with construction, Real Estate execution, or remodel processes within Walmart.
  • You have the proven ability to manage complex cross‑functional projects and initiatives.
  • You have previous experience training, mentoring, or developing others.
  • You possess strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • You can collaborate successfully and efficiently with executive leadership and field‑based teams.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations , or related field and 2 years’ experience in operations, project management, or related area OR 4 years’ experience in operations, project management, or related area.
  • Must be willing to travel up to 10% - 60% of the time.

The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00 - $130,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
