Role summary:As a Software Engineer III at Walmart, you will lead the design and development of scalable software solutions by collaborating with cross-functional teams including product management and user experience. What you'll do:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define high-level design and technical solutions for projects.
- Develop, test, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-quality code following coding standards and best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production and business issues through root cause analysis and effective problem-solving.
- Manage project requirements, translate them into technical deliverables, and ensure timely delivery of solutions.
- Support continuous integration and deployment processes by automating routine tasks and implementing telemetry features.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to small engineering teams, including offshore associates.
- Monitor application performance and implement maintenance activities to ensure reliability and scalability.
What you'll bring:
- Proven expertise in object-oriented programming and software design principles.
- Strong technical acumen with experience in platform design, API development, and component services.
- Proficiency in iterative and incremental development methodologies and continuous integration/delivery practices.
- Ability to perform root cause analysis, debugging, and troubleshooting of complex software issues.
- Experience with documentation-based coding and delivering scoped features or models.
- Familiarity with generative artificial intelligence concepts and their application.
- Demonstrated capability in developing automated scripts and conducting thorough testing.
- Effective collaboration skills within cross-functional and agile teams.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
