- Hands-on experience working with Linux and Windows operating systems, including system administration fundamentals.
- Working knowledge of Python programming, with the ability to read, understand, and modify existing code.
- Experience interacting with RESTful APIs and understanding HTTP methods (GET, POST, PUT, PATCH, DELETE).
- Familiarity with asynchronous programming concepts (e.g., async/await).
- Experience using Git for version control, including branching and collaborative workflows.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across systems, applications, and infrastructure layers.
- Experience working in a large-scale enterprise network environment.
- Strong understanding of core networking concepts such as routing, switching, VLANs, DNS, and DHCP.
- Experience with network/cloud segmentation platforms and strategies.
- Experience automating infrastructure maintenance or operational workflows.
- Familiarity with configuration compliance, including enforcing standards and detecting configuration drift.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally in a large organization.
- Design, build, and maintain automation for the deployment, configuration, and ongoing management of on-premises and cloud firewall platforms.
- Develop automation to support network segmentation and policy lifecycle management, reducing manual and error-prone operational tasks.
- Build workflows to automate infrastructure maintenance, including routine health checks, upgrades, and operational validation.
- Implement solutions to enforce configuration standards using templates or baselines, and monitor for configuration drift over time.
- Integrate automation with network and security platforms using RESTful APIs.
- Administer and troubleshoot Linux and Windows systems that support automation and security tooling.
- Develop and maintain Python-based automation scripts and services, applying best practices for logging, error handling, and maintainability.
- Read and interpret API documentation and integrate with internal and external services.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines for automation and infrastructure code.
- Use Git-based workflows for version control, collaboration, and code reviews.
- Partner with cross-functional engineering and security teams to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.
- Create and maintain technical documentation to support operational teams and ongoing improvements.

Sunnyvale, California US-11657: The annual salary range for this position is $143,000.00 - $286,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
